Default 1st time at the track... need some advice

I drive a 93dx hatch w/ a b16. I'm running basically a stock motor... just a short ram intake and a cheap exhaust w/ stock piping, also have 16inch rims w/ tire psi lowered to 30psi. I do have a new ACT clutch though. Heres my fastest timeslip.

R/T 1.203
60' 2.498
330 6.799
1/8 10.259
mph 71.45
1000 13.205
1/4 15.721
MPH 88.57

I ran twice and improved my R/T to .631 but still got a worse 1/4 time. I know i need to improve my 60ft time. I think i launched too low... i dumped it at about 3k rpm. I was expecting 15's but was hoping to get a little lower.

My final goal is to get into the mid 14's. Any advice on what I should invest in next? Should i get a good I/H/E setup or should i go for cams and possibly pistons? I want to avoid n2o.

Also, I have been debating to go either turbo or N/A... with my goal being mid 14's what route sounds best.

For mid 14s I think N/A would be a good choice. You might want to try a nice I/H/E setup along with setting your tires down to about 22-24 psi. (Start high and work low) That should get you into the low 15s at least...

You don't need to worry about your R/T since the timer starts once you launch. You should be able to do mid 14s with just NA.

I ran at California Speedway in Fontana. Was I launching too low?
