fuel pump problem
Why is it that when ever my car is really hot on the inside the damn fuel pump will not come on. Has anyone had this problem, and if so how do i fix it. The car a 92 prelude, stock f.p.
how many miles on the car? has the pump ever been replaced? it could be starting to fail. It also kinda sounds like an electrical and heat problem. Have you removed the cover in the trunk to see if there is a loose connection?
yes i have removed the cover, the connection is goodthe car has like 2xx,xxx miles on it but i had replaced it with a walbro 255 and it shut off when ever it felt like so i put the stock one back in and it was fine for about a yr and now its doing it again
Nope, this just happened to me yesturday. Fule Pump won't prime up because the Main relay is not turning it on. Your relay is not shot, but on its way. H-T's Search function is down right now, but if you Search on the Main Relay, you'll get many results.
