Could I use DA brakes on my 92 hatch?
I found a DA that is a 93 LS that is really cheap (cracked head) and I was wondering if I could use the brakes off of that car on my 92 CX hatch. I know that the LCA's are a little different but the hub and brake assembly is what I'm worryied about.

No. The DA uses different front knuckles as well. Geometry will not be right with them on an EG.

I suppose you COULD swap it.. but then what are you really saving? You would still need the large hub to accomodate the larger rotor/caliper.. so why not just get the correct crap to begin with? Not to mention that are VERY likely to destroy the wheel bearing when you press the hub off the knuckle. Wheel bearings alone are ~$60. What are you really saving by not buying the correct brakes to begin with?

i do have both hubs replaced on the knuckle. sorry earlier i thought the didn't state that i had the knuckle assembly aswell. when i do the swap i am just going to undo all the torx bolts that hold the knuckle to the trailing arm. this way i dont have to get an alignment by messing around with the upper and lower control arms.

if you have a 92 cx hatchback, chances are that unless you swapped out your knuckles, you have DX knuckles (which can be found on 88-00 civic) in the front w/ 9.4" rotors

if you're going to swap out your front knuckles, look for ex front knuckles or 94-00 integra, which use a 10.3" rotor

with bigger calipers, you'll need a bigger 15/16 m/c from a 90-91 civic ex. you'll need to bench it first or it'll take forever & you'll be going through 2-3 bottles of fluid

* the best-bang-for the-buck, if you don't want to drop out your dx knuckles...you can always do the itr caliper swap. yep, type-r calipers on DX knuckles w/ 10.3" rotors. the itr caliper is the biggest one-piston caliper made by honda. you'll need to source out the itr caliper, which is stamped 17CL15VN. the itr caliper can be found on many honda/acura in junkyards (older accord, legend, cl, tl, rl, vigor, cr-v, prelude, odyssey, etc). upon acquiring the itr calipers, you'll need to take the caliper & bracket apart. the bracket (you'll find they're stamped 23T, 25T or 28T) will need to sent out and milled 1/8" or 2-3mm (where the brackets mates on the knuckle). this set-up requires 10.3" rotors, which you can find off and 90-00 integra, 90-91 civic ex, 99-00 si. the best part of this swap is the easy off-the-shelf parts for blank rotors & pads replacement parts. no expensive aftermarket parts, special brackets, or custom rotors. the machined brackets will work w/ integra type-r calipers, legend 2-piston caliper & nsx calipers as well. *if you decide to upgrade to this set-up w/ ex or integra front knuckles, you can use the machined itr brackets on the bigger knuckles w/ 11" rotors re-drilled to 4X100 from +97 prelude
