Default Always thinking that stuff is stolen....

I'm the type of person that trusts no one. That being said, whenever I see a non ITR tricked out with all the factory ITR goodies, I always assume the worst and that some poor schmo had his baby ripped off, and gutted, so some kid with a GSR could have ITR seats.

Anyway, there is always the chance that this dude wrecked an R or something and the parts are all legit, but lookin' out for the homies here with R's, I found this on a local board. If anyone in the area has had an R stolen recently, maybe want to check it out.

I know what you mean dude about not trusting anyone. Why do you think I'm bringing my car all the way across the country to Wisconsin to get built?

It is probably a little excessive thinking that all ITR parts you see on non-Rs are stolen though. Good lookin' out though.

i don't think they're stolen parts, but i could be wrong. this guy lives in KS and his brother juuuust bought this car not too long ago. it used to have gabs and work wheels on it. here's his FS thread here on HT. (i couldn't find the FS thread from the previous owner because the search function on HT is pretty much fragged right now)

nah, I agree with you guys, you can't be suspicious all the time. Some guys have 5 lug on their civics, and such.

But I just get bad feelings when I see cars that have "the whole ITR catalog" on a non-ITR. I'm sure this car is probably legit, I just figured I'd see if anyone in the area was missing anything. And it looks like most of the stuff on the car is JDM ITR, and that stuff is pretty easy to just buy out right. Anyway, just looking out.

Sadly I agree, you really do have to be careful these days. It can seem like you can't trust anyone anymore so I generally keep a watchful eye at all time. However, you take a look at my gs-r and see many many many ITR parts. All of which were bought used, the majority from wrecked(totaled) that members were selling from this board. The only ITR part that wasn't bought from a totaled car is my recaros, which were purchased out of an ITR (Oddly enough...the one I just bought) before it was sold.

Just food for thought.

I'm the same way. The last two Integras I have seen that have been fully decked out with ITR stuff had the center console number scratched out. They even claimed they were ITRs until you saw the vin.
