question regarding car alarm for my 99 si.

Default question regarding car alarm for my 99 si.

hello recently my car alarm stopped working. you know when the LED light start blinking meaning its activated, but now it wont blink at all, it just light up. how can i fix this problem? thank you.

kinda sounds like its in valet mode... if its a DEI alarm(viper,python etc) with the door open arm and disarm it twice...

Otherwise, if it's the OE one, turn on key, press button that should be by your left knee and the light should go out.

i did the arm and disarm this twice, still no luck. actually it stopped working after my stereo got stolen. what could the theif do??

Might have shorted out some wiring under the dash, especially if it got all hacked up.

What kind of alarm?? IM me so it's not in public what you have. I'll help you troubleshoot it. Sounds like it's just in valet mode to me.

Just so things are clear, the alarm is not working, correct? Its not just the led light thats not working? Also, you may want to try audio/security, the guys in there are very knowledgeable.

i mean the keyless entry works perfectly, but the led light wont blink when arm/activated. help me out.
