Stock ECU malfunction? That doesn't happen.
To the OP, how do you know you are running rich?

yeah its a stock p28 virgin, never been opened or messed with. I have a little black smoke on top of black spot on bumper with a bad smell of gas coming out the exhaust (sniffed the exhaust wile running). I've never replace the injectors, fuel pump, fuel regulator, tps, map, iacv. is there any thing else it could be? i put in some iridium's 3 months ago my friend gave me. would that do it?
