could have been a lot worse right?. plus you know where he lives!

 

from the pix, it looks like your neighbor stop the vehicle after hitting the rear of the front driver side tire. to be safe, I would go replace/check the knuckle, upper arm, lower arm, and other suspenion component. a small unnotice bent on the knuckle can cause big headache on the suspension.

 

He's actually a pretty cool guy, and he offered to pay for the damage, but I'm afraid his credit card doesn't have a high enough of a limit.

Damage done by him: $1295 + a 4 wheel alignment
(Includes new fender, side marker, S2000 badges, and blend into door.)

Extra that I'll have to pay to make the car look right: $864
(R&I front bumper cover, repaint fron bumper cover, hood, blend into passenger fender.)
