Default crx rear ended, quarter panel buckled

my crx was hit at about 20mph in the rear and the driver sped off. anyways, it buckled the rear right quarter panel. does that mean the frame is bent? if so how much does a repair to "pull" the frame back to normal at a frame shop cost?

Thats pretty close. That doesn't include any cosmetic repair, which is needed for the buckle to come out. Also, look under your car and see if there are any kinks/distortions on the frame rails where it was hit.

no kinks/distortions, but the rear panel behind the tail lights and where the bumper support bolts to is crinkled where it meets the frame rail. do u think i should just replace the frame rails? or is that too difficult for a home mechanic?

i think the bent rear panel is pushing against the quarter, since the door is .7mm closer to the quarter panel than it should be, and the buckle is very shallow

The quarter is forward from being hit in the rear body panel area, or the damage traveled further up the frame rails where it's not that visible. A couple mm's off at the front of the rail will drastically throw off panel alignment and door gaps.

Take some pics.

door gaps and panel alignment are off, i just went to a shop. they said that om my car, its easy as hell to fix, they said 100 bucks will pull it back to normal.

and the shop i went to is a frame specialty shop.

so that makes me feel a shitload better

sorry, its not the frame. i misunderstood him, just the rear panel puched the quarter panel, the frame is fine. luckily. i had to clear that up with him because my alignment is still perfect

That makes sense. They won't clamp it to a frame rack for that, probably just chain it and pull it out with a come-along. good luck man

thats exactly what i was told they are gonna do. and while its in, im getting all the rust patched up!!!

im using repair panels. u seem to kno about body work, so how hard u think it will be to use filler over epoxy primer along the welds on the patch panel? this will be my first time using filler. will getting the shape be too hard? should i just pay the extra hundred to have the shp do that?
