We have the tank on the ground for my 90 accord EX SOHC, i need the torque specs for the fuel pump main line. (the one that actally attaches to the pump itself. NEED ASAP! Thanks.

 

IM not 100% sure if i did this right or not. but the bolt is a flow bolt, 2 holes at the top, leading to the bottom. We lined up the holes to direct itself towards the fuel line going outwards (i hope this was right) We then tried to lift up the tank, and the fuel line was loose, (i think we may have stripped the threads (oh sh*t...) so we put the bolt back in as traight as possible, and caught the threads, and they aligned properly, But it almost seems to me that we may have overtightened it, We were hauling away just to get those 2 holes lined up. (we had to re-use the washers that were on there as i didnt have any spares lying around, Also, we cleaned out therally with a Hi powered shop vac and a compressor, the threads, to make sure they were ok, They seem to be holding, however im not sure this will be sufficient... Will i require a new fuel pump? Or can i run it on this one as long as i have not damaged it internally (i think) and removed all metal lying around?
I litterally buy the car tomorrow morning, and im wondering if i already screwed it up by doing this, and what i may have to do to fix it. The tank is half bolted to the car right now (being held up by a couple peices of wood) with the car on jackstands. Please let me know if i have done ANYTHING wrong, or if what i did was ok.
