GSR or SI
Hello,
I'm looking to get a new car and my options seem to be a 2000 civic SI, 2002 Civic SI, or a 2000 Integra GSR. They all seem to have the same performance from what I have read. This will be my DD and I do not have any plans to modify. The insurance is about $75 a month cheaper for the 2000 SI. Right now I have a 96 civic dx so I don't want to feel like i'm buying the same car. THe 2002 Si's are a little funny looking and it doesn't seem like to many people have them. I do like the idea of the Integra because it will have leather and a hatch.
Do the SI's have different suspention?
Any suggestions?

well the integra owners will say get an integra and the civic guys will say get a civic. i had to make the same choice too. i crashed my 97 ek civic and i couldnt decide either si or gsr? i got the gsr instead and never looked back.
2002 Civic Si
it could have been made so much better than it is.
I would go with a GSR (as you can see, my sig), great engine, wonderful chassis, and nice sleak look especially compared to the 2000 Si, IMO.

I recently had to make the same choice. The choice was obvious to me. The only downside is sometimes it's nice to have that 5th seat. But, you would not believe the amount of crap I can put in the back of the integra. It will take wider wheels without scrubbing. Blah, blah, blah, etc...
GSR
GSR
I have a 96 GSR that i take to the track twice a summer and auto-x at least once a month. It's moded a bit, and not driven during the winter. My winter beater was recently smashe up (got hit while it was parked) and totaled. I'm getting a 2002 SI, for my DD and winter car. I think it will be a fun car to drive. Just my 2 cents

GSR. But if you're looking for a daily driver, why not get something a bit more comfortable like an accord? I've been thinking about selling my LS and picking up a 98 and up accord for a while now

my bro once had an 00 si and its cool once i got my gsr teg man i was like i rather have a gsr anyday over an si plus had more hp and its 1.8 but dont get me wrong si is cool as well
Both GSR and 2000 SI are nice cars. I think I would get a Electron SI blue over a GSR. Why is because they you dont see much civic SIs like that. But you do see alot of integras. Civic is slow, but with boost it can be fast
