thnks alot now another part of the question is that why are they different? for example wats the difference between the c5 head and the c1 head? differences in the pistons? crank? rods? cams? valvetrain? not so much the tranny cuz im mating w/e i swap with a b16 tranny. thnks in advance and ima be even a bigger noob for askin this but..out of all the major different parts in the c5 and c1, which are better and y?

b18c5's use a pr3 head, essentially a b16 head but with some minor port work. an itr crank is the same stroke as a gsr but heavier to better withstand the higher revs it was intended to see. itr rods are a little stronger but nothing worth switching over, imo. itr cams are bigger and the valvetrain is stronger to handle them.

the best thing to do to find the right motor is to find someone who has one of these motor in their car, or sitting in their garage. i know this is a hard thing to do, but for me this is always the best way to learn it. i guess i'm pretty much a hands-on learner.

oh, and it would be easier for me to read your posts if you could type like you have a keyboard in front of you and not a cell phone with a 7th grader vernacular.

Plain and simple,

C5 = high compression go fast n/a motor. Poor boost block due to high risk of detonation.

C1 = regular compression go kinda fast can be decent n/a and handles boost really well.
