i have a 75 shot on my si coupe... ******* sick... i got mine from a friend so i only paid $350... its the best hp for your money.. and if your running a 50 shot your not risking to blow your motor unless you do a bad install

i want to run a 75 shot too, but doesn't the timing have to be adjusted? or is it ok with a 75 shot?

I would check the laws in your state regarding the use of Nitrous on the street. It is major illegal in California. You can't smog a car in CA with NOS. I addition, if a cop pulls you over and deems the installation (hoses and values used, how and where the tank is secured) is incorrect or "unsafe", they can confiscate your car on the spot.

Just a suggestion

By the time you use your fill of NOS until the i-Pro comes out by then you could have had a turbo that already put ~300hp down and even better later. NOS just seems like a cheap way to be fast.

Sweet. I think I need to move. I looked into adding NOS to the supercharger (50 shot), but after reading the laws (California) I decided it was not worth the risk.

I put a vibrant cat back went from 181 to the wheels to 190 at the wheels cold air is 5-9 so probably be around 240 to the wheels should be mid 13s with a tire

my friend ran mid- low 13s on an si with i/h/e/75 shot and other little mods... launching in 2nd... and no you dont have to retard timing with a 75 shot... but i would recomend removal of the cat and colder spark plugs.... one of my friends went on 100 shot and didnt retard the timing on his 06 si and bent a couple of valves hehe...

The only way I could see your friend bending a couple of valves is if he had piston to valve contact.

hard to believe. when i was involved with nitrous i started with a 50 shot and it didn't run correctly until i pulled a little timing off. this was in a y8 which, if i remember correctly, has 9.6:1 comp ratio. the Z3 is 11:1!

your buddy's motor was on a road to destruction way before the 100 shot. did he think he was gonna get away with a 100 shot without touching his timing? that's rookie **** dude.

Then you should have stated he blew the motor. Bending a few valves isn't blowing an engine.

im not saying that you dont need to retard your timing to run at your optimum... isaid you dont have to retard your timing because its ok to run a 75 shot...

ppl running a 125 shot without retarding timing so i figure the 75 wouldn't hurt

i plan on getting the wet kit with purge valve, bottle heater, auto opener, boost guage and i don't know if i am missing anything else?
