Default Machining Flywheel

Is it possible to machine an Aluminum flywheel? I am going to replace my clutch and don't want to have to buy a new flywheel...

on a side note- anyone ever heard of competition clutches? Honda-tech is offering clutch disk, throwout bearing, and pressure plate for 315 shipped ("stage two"), does anyone have any experience with "competition clutches"?

Thanks in advance

Is it a fidanza 8lb aluminum flywheel? if so, you will probably have a hard time machining it because there is a wear surface bolted to the flywheel. the wear surface is supposed to be replaceable but ive never seen replacements sold or heard of anyone that has done so.
