the car is a 96 civic hb and the motor is a Y8 and its the sensor that goes onto the thermostat thingy...when i start to thread it in it's fine and then about half way through the threads it just stops...I think its the little copper thing at the end of the sensor that needs to come in....but i cant get it to go in....so i don't know anymore....what do you guys think i should do...Do i keep threading it once it gets hard and just keep going at it until it's all the way in?

do you have a tap and die set? try cleaning the threads up

 

I'm 100% sure its not the threads.......
