B16 Mods
I have a stock 5sp manual b16 vtec and had thought of doing a b20 swap, but i've decided to just work with what I got.
What are some good performance mods that'll get me going? I'm not in it for racing or anything, I'm just in it for the learning experience and to be able to have some fun if i wanna =].
All I have, which is lame I know, is a short ram intake. I'm looking into headers, new exhaust system, possibly boring of pistons? What are your guys' ideas?
-Jesi =]

First off you bore cylinders not pistons. Your best bet would probally be a good header and some cams then a tune.

Tuning with a vafc is just about the most inefficent way to tune. Go with something like crome.

I'm sorry you couldn't take care of your nasty *** POS B16.
I track my car and it's also my DD and I still don't burn more than 0.1 quart of oil every 3K miles. Oh...and built by me
To the OP: The B16 has potential. You just have to fork over the mulah to get it to perform with guts. Personally I'd go boost. I believe a make over of your exhaust system would do good staying NA. From the header to the muffler.

ls -vtec, i seen ls block go for like 100-200 bucks ...then you can get some parts such as ctr/itr pistons and eagle/forged rods..ctr/itr cams, better i/m and then i/h/e stage clutch and tune it up trust me thats gonna make some power for a DD...
