ABS and E-brake light coming on while driving???
So I'm heading down the road usually when over 65 mph and only when I'm going up a hill (sometimes when over 75 and no hill), my abs and e-brake light will come on, i have aftermarket rims on it and i could understand if they weren't balanced perfect it might throw everything off but it happens when i'm going up a hill???
confused... any input?

The 'BRAKE' light will also come on if you have a low level of brake fluid. I failed to close one of my bleeders all the way and fluid slowly exited the system evertime I used the brakes, resulting in low fluid level and illuminated BRAKE light.
has there been anything done to your brakes lately? like changes, repairs, mods, anything that would help anyone here to know a little bit more about your situation.
i changed the rotors and pads... but that was way before this started happening, nothing was done and one day it just started doing it. Like i said it only does it at higher speeds and it seems only when i'm going up hill and im not even touching the brakes
well only datum i can give you from my experience is that my abs got cut and it just turned on a 65mph while on the freeway. but that is not your case.
bump for help.
bump for help.
the thing that trips me out is it only does it when im going uphill... and if i heard myself saying that without seeing it id say i was imagining things... i dont get it
thanks for the bump
thanks for the bump
It only does it going uphill...
As stated, it could be a fluid level problem. Or possibly an ABS sensor fault, ABS module fault, damaged or bent ABS exciter ring, a broken or damaged wire...
There are a few possibilities, but you saying it happens when going uphill might ring true with someone else who's had a similar thing happen.
