I'm running a dual bend short shifter and have always been confused as to its correct orientation.

For clarification, the front of this car is on the left side of the picture.

Is this shifter facing the wrong direction?





In some pics, I see it facing the OPPOSITE direction where the bend faces towards the rear of the car.

Which is correct?

ya bro i think u got it in backwards, the bend is supposed to be away from the front

The bend is designed to bring the shifter closer to the driver.

 

That's a shitty angle of the shifter. Take a picture from the side. At first glance I thought it was installed correctly, now I'm not sure.

 

wrong direction. throw some polyurethane bushings while you`re at it. let us know how that apc brand works for you.

 

That **** is going to snap... I had a $9 ebay short shifter and the damn thing broke in my hand.
