2000 Si sunroof problem
wierd, tonight on my way home my sunroof magically opened by itself as I was driving along.
I hit the switch and it didnt respond. The sunroof motor does the clicking noise every 10 or so seconds which means its trying to OPEN it(even though its open already). trying to close it does nothing.
I fiddled with the button and nothing works. I havent taken the panel off yet(and will if i have to) but wanted to see if anyone else has had this issue before?
any ideas?
very strange.
This is random. I didnt hit the switch with my knee or anything, and I dont open the sunroof all that much.
search isnt working right now for whatever reason.

my first guess would be bad switch. i would remove the switch, and via helms, jump the close wires. if it closes, then jump the open wires. if it responds, it is the switch, if not, the relay has gone bonkers. you need to do some basic trouble shooting before we can proceed.
I was just thinking that when I unplugged the switch lastnight it was still tryin to open the sunroof..
my guess is the relay is screwy. i just manually closed it. i got exams to deal with right now.
