running turbo but not piped ???

Default running turbo but not piped ???

hey guys i am to get my car tunned in on tuesday, b18a1 with egle rods and 9:1 forged pistons, a 57 trim dsm 450 255 fuel pump, i wanta know if i could just replace the 450 with the stock injectors and not have it piped up and be able to drive it 50 miles or so i also have a resistor box will that hurt anything ?

That is a good way to blow it up! You can overspin it.

Put the piping on and stay out of boost.

Thats a lot of work. I tune my own cars, so I do not have to drive it to a tuner

I would put the stock injectors back in. Make sure you have closed loop enabled.

Just take out the wastegate sping, and use your stock injectors.

And make sure not to get into the high RPM range you can overspin the turbo, remember you have no load on it

Man, i would either get the piping done and a basemap, or have it trailered there. I wouldnt want to risk my money and hard work on something as stupid as what you want to do.

pay 100 dollars to rent a trailor and tow it.. to me 100 dollars seems like a good insurance for sumthng u worked sooo hard on.. or do u like the idea of driving to the tuner with a messed up motor and then driving back home w/o a tune and with a bad turbo car? i tuned wen i first put turbo on and after i rebuilt the motor.. towed it both times and that 100dollars each time was well worth it and stree free drive to the tuner

well i got it to the tunner (Hybrid dynamics) all safe, drove it not getting into boost thank for the advice
