Default civic type r 1/4 mile stock

hi, i just have a question on my civic. I have a 2000 civic 4 door with the complete typer tranny, block, head with crower cams i/e/h, full inteior and ran 13.9 at the track. I was wondering is this slow for a civic that is type r swap or not?

ya thats pretty decent time maybe with better tires and launch you can get better times and weather and track temp plays an important role as well

Umm... first off my old DX EG hatch was around 2300-2400 and the Si's are heavier, the EF Si's are around 2300 and their lighter than eg's. The base 4 door is actually lighter than a fully loaded 2 or 3 door. If it's an EX 4 door like my brother's 97 4 door it's more like around 2700. And a stock 4 door GSR is more around 2800, a stock RS 2 door is around 2600. My DA LS weighs around 2600.

well a stock integra type R runs about 14.8. You are slightly modded, but i don't think your weight is too far off from the integra. So i guess your times are somewhat reasonable.

Do you have a civic type r engine, or integra type r?

it could depend on what year it was made too. my friends eg hatch Si weighs in at a little over 2300lbs without the driver. a stock DC2 RS is a bit less than 2600lbs. my DC2 is in the mid 2600s.

depeding on trim level, a 2000 4dr civic weighs between 2300 and 2600 lbs without driver. 2000 hatch depending on trim level 2300 and 2400 lbs without driver. not a big difference unless his sedan is an EX. seems like a pretty decent time to me, but the rest of the timeslip stats would help here. 60' etc?

Congrats.

Time slip would help.

If it was with a 1.9 60', then it sucks. If it was with a 2.7 60 ft' (most likely lol) its pretty good.

my 92 4 door weighed in at 2351 full interior (including backseats) + 4 point roll cage. also no sound deadening removed, in my opinion 4 doors would be the ultimate sleeper because everyone expects them to be fat, heavy, and slow.
