OUR Grand Son FD2 Civic Type R
Just watched the 2007 July Hotversion " TYPE R returns" . I knew this newest 4dr Type R will be incredible fast, but I was shock that it has a fastest lap time in SUZUKA CIRCUIT compare to this:
CIVIC TYPE R (FD2) 2'35"20
NSX (Type S Zero) 2'35"44
LANCER (EVO VI RS) 2'36"50
RX-7 (Type RS) 2'35"81
GTR ( V-SPEC) 2'39"56
- - - DONE by Dori Dori Tsuchiya - - -
FD2 Civic Type R
1270kg
K20A 11.7:1
225ps/8000rpm
21.9kgm/6100rpm
Bridgestone RE070 225/40R18
320mm Brake disc w/ Brembo pot

I know this stock Civic has everything a sport/race car needs and it shows on another race that it kills the DC5 Type R in all area, and same quickness on turns compare to NSX. But again I was still shock that it's nevertheless a FF 4DR Civic. . .
However it's all in Japanese w/ no subtitle. There's a part that the Civic compares the NSX TYPE R and DC2 INTEGRA TYPE R. Has anyone watch it and explain that part a bit ?

That is a sick commercial. Wish the quality was better. Hoping to see that on my TV in the near future.

i can believe it. i was all over a evo 9's *** during a track day. as well as a few corvettes and 2 e46 M3's. this cars handles amazingly. i was very surprised. people were asking me what kinda honda it was. what it had done and if its a 6 cylinder. i even had people askin if it was awd because of how hard it came out of the corners.
i told them is just a civic.
