sigh...people this is a Ex. it has a sunroof, and is a Vtec motor. its a d16z6. Please tell me your first plans are to rip off that body kit and locate stock bumpers?
As far as i know, all 92-95 Ex's and Si's came with sunroofs and vtec (z6) motors. Tho i have seen a few 5gens (Lx, Dx) that have aftermarket sunroofs with the non-vtec motor (d15b7).

X2! The 92-95 Civic EX DID come with the same motor as the Si did, the D16Z6 SOHC VTEC motor.
There was also another SOHC VTEC motor that was introduced with this generation Civic, it was the E-VTEC (Im pretty sure thats what it was called) and it was a ecinomical version of the VTEC that we all love. This motor only put out I think somewhere in the 85-95 hp range. I think it was either the VX, LX, or HX models that came with it.
To the OP, how much did you pay for the car? If you got it for less than $1000, and it runs good, then it was a good deal, and plenty saveable! Good luck!

get used to it, if you post pictures like this you are going to get comments from H-T, and from what i have seen/read so far most of the H-T community do not like body kits.
but as for my opinion, Your car, You like it, then its all good
GL with your future plans on your ride and welcome

Car is a little rough, but it looks like a fun project. Also, don't mind all these uppity JDM bandwagon ****'s, you should mod your car the way you like it. A "ricer" is more defined by what he knows than what he drives.

It's called VTEC-E and it came in the VX (D15Z1). Although it uses the same VTEC spool solenoid as a normal VTEC engine such as the D16Z6, the function of VTEC is completely different between the two engines. The D16Z6 puts down a factory rating of 125 at the flywheel - probably around 100 at the wheels.

It's VTEC, not Vtec, not vtech, not V-Tech, not v-tec, or any other variation of the letters.
You can hear it, not feel it*
Bolded:
Judging by what I see in the background I believe you.
I'm not flaming you, if you like body kits - your deal, nobody else's. Though you are in the wrong forum, photo shoots of your car are supposed to be posted inside the appearance/cosmetics forum, this is a tech forum.

Intake piping doesn't matter worth of **** - it's the filter that matters, buy a K&N or AEM filter for that thing.

Good deal if the body is in good shape. Good for some de-ricing. Quick question though, even for $650, WHY ON EARTH would you buy a car that has a million wires running around the engine bay that were not there from the factory??? Thats some scary business dude, messing around with someone else's hack job. If this car is about the best car in your town, I feel sorry for your town. Ive owned the same car with the SOHC Vtec motor, and you definatley cant "really feel it and hear it" in stock trim. Hear it a little bit, yeah if youve got some good hearing. Its weak in stock trim, especially with only an intake and a ????? Muffler. Any hey, this is Honda-Tech, not Car-Domain. When you come on this site and put pics up of a car like that, you gotta remember that this community is filled with about 99% of its members being dedicated to the clean, simple, and true form of Honda's, not the fast and the furious styled hondas. And where is your coolant resivor? It looks like your hose for it jst runs off into nowhere-ville. Good luck with the car though, I hope the wiring doesnt come back to haunt you.
