changing shocks
when i bought my 99 prelude. it has kyb adjustables on it. the passenger rear shock is blown and i bought some kyb 2's, cuz i didn't want to spend the $$$ for new adjustables. in doing so, i noticed i need to buy new springs. the car is lowered and i'm just wondering how to find out what 'size' springs to buy. or how do you go about measuring to find out what size i would need. since i didn't lower the car, i don't know how far it was lowered etc. thanks for the help.
the springs are way to short to put on the kyb 2's. the adjustables have 'perches' on them to adjust the height of the springs. and the 2's don't have those. so the shocks would be completly compressed/or bottemed out.
I've never heard of KYB AGX's having height adjustability like that. I believe you are mistaken.
Koni's do, AGX's don't.
you should not need new springs

I think you may have coilover sleeves. Is that what you are talking about? A threaded body w/ a spring going over the old shock?
Just throw some Tein S-tech springs on them and call it a day. Run around $150......Make sure you get real ones.
