Default anything bad about hondamotorsonline or nippon motors?

I might buy a b16a SIR 1 just to use for one day(might blow it up)....because my motor's not ready yet. Are they reputable? How good is their shipping(timewise)?

EDIT:scratch that, HMO only, it seems that nippon has raised their prices form last time I saw them...

is there anywhere else I can get a b16a longblock for less than $450?

HMO is great - I picked up my engine at their shop and every motor in the place was virtually spotless and in excellent condition. I believe they only ship once a week so that might be an issue for you.

Hey, I live in St. Paul too, what side? I ordered from nippon motors and wouldn't recommend them because I got a mix-match swap. I ordered a obdi b18c w/lsd and I gotten some parts that either isn't obd1 or b16a parts (not the motor and tranny just the accessories like sensors, distributor and stuff). You could ask them about me (xong lor ask for Lee) they haven't even send me the parts they promise to replaced.

nippon is bad news...you aren't the first to be screwed over by them guys. hondamotorsonline is definitely way better. you get everything and anything for a full swap. i got my motor from them with low miles and virtually spotless. nippon on the other hand...i don't even want to start
