Well, I finally made it to the track Saturday. I went up to Beaver Springs Dragway and made about 10 runs. It was about 85 degrees and humid as hell (typical central PA weather). I am a rookie and my sixty foot's suck. I need more practice and better suspension. I had alot of fun though. Here's my two best runs:
60': 2.091
330: 5.466
1/8: 8.130
MPH: 93.85
1000: 10.385
1/4: 12.282
MPH: 119.47
60': 2.115
330: 5.471
1/8: 8.134
MPH: 93.62
1000: 10.380
1/4: 12.265
MPH: 120.22
My setup constists of '99 b18c1 w/ itr cams and valve springs, blox IM, 68mm TB, egay cast manifold, 3" downpipe, Garrett T3/T4, egay intercooler, C.C. stage 4 six pad sprung clutch. I was running on 215/60/14 BFG drag radials. This is in a 1993 DX coupe. I went up with friend of mine (rice4life) he took some pics, so I'll see if he can post them up later on. It was tuned by John Kerr (J-K Tuning) @ 10psi - 284whp, 187tq (@ McNew's Automotive-Dillsburg)with Apexi WS exhaust (I know, that will be replaced this winter with 3 inch exhaust). I just thought I would share my day at the track.

Thanks guys. I don't know how much it weighs, I wanted to weigh it yesterday but forgot to
. I just did the usual stripping of the interior but left the passenger seat in. Hopefully rice4life will post a couple of pics tonight- he went auto-xing(sp?) today.

New suspension will be this winter or early spring.

he dyno at 284 whp with 2.5" HFC and 2.5" exhaust.
he ran open downpipe (3") at the track. so he probably gain 10 whp there.

D-Rob, October sounds good, I hope you finish up a 2.0 Liter by then- I'd love to see it run.

Wes is making the fuel cell right now. After that it will come alive. I re-did most of the car. So hopefully it passes tech a bit better now. Still needs the 9 sec essentials though, if I even get that far this year.

No problem man. You have a good setup.
So simple, yet makes good power.. the power band is the best thing.

No worries. I was just wondering what a good suspension setup is for drag racing. Im clueless when it comes to that.

here's some basic mod
- stiff engine mount and traction bar to prevent wheel hops.
- stiff rear springs to reduce rear weight transfer.
- LSD to transfer power to both front wheels.
