Recently installed a D16 motor into my 95 civic. Everything was plug and play, car runs. Took it for a spin, drove a block and a half, came home went back out, went from reverse to first gear out of driveway, heard a pop sound and now no gears will work at all, not even reverse. What could this be?

 

Maybe a leak in your hydralic circuit?

 

axle popped out

 

axles are in, tranny fluid was low but still had some. Could it be the clutch plate backwards?

 

if clutch was backwards, you wouldn't have been able to drive it.

I still say and axle popped out or came apart, does the speedo still work?
