So i just bought some jdm ek4 sir doors for my brothers 97 civic ex, but when we put them on nothing seems to work. The door locks and power windows dont work at all, and the door doesnt close all the way. I know that the power windows motor works because i had to run power from the battery in order to close the window. What could be the problem?

It's a distinct possibility that they're the wrong year (ie 99-00) or that the switches are fried.

no they are for 3dr/2dr

 

use your usdm window harnesses

 

is that the easiest way, by changing the harness
