Hey I'm looking for a new P28 ECU to chip for my car seeing as mine has burnt up some how and a couple relays look gone. I'm lookin on eBay but a couple of the items i've seen have been p06's converted to p28 ecu's. what does that mean? the Auto to the Manual or something? and will this work? I just need a new chipped OBD1 ecu for my chip that i've been using forever and harness i converted for my 99 civic.

please if anyone knows for sure that i can use a p06 thats said to be converted to a p28 let me know it would be very much appriciated so i can get it and get my car running and go to work hahaha

 

Yes, I am currently using a Kenji P06 to P28. Basically taking a non-VTEC ECU and modifying it to a VTEC ECU. As P28s become less plentiful, chippers are using P06s which are very abundant.
