Default changing rear brake pads, need help

Hey guys i am trying to replace my rear brake pad on my k4 gsxr 600 and i have a question: How do I press the pistons in to slide in a new pad? Do i need to bleed the brakes to do that or is there an easier way??? Please any input would be helpfull at this point.

Usually the piston will look like this + If it is, you would rotate the piston counter clockwise. You will not need to bleed your brakes as long as you do not remove the brake line.

Use a screwdriver between the old pads and press the pistons back. That way you don't gouge your new pads with the screwdriver.

i always just used a large "c" clamp and pressed it in like that, but that wont work if its a screw type.
