obd0 b16 question..
I have obdo b16 head would i have a problem using a newer block ?? I was thinking a 99 b16 bottom.. Plus ..what head gasket should i get and what time belt should i use ??thanx

no problem at all...
the only difference is where the coolant sensor location for the fan switch is located....on the obd0 blocks they are on a two prong plug on the back of the block 2 single connectors...on the obd1 and newer engines it is a 2 pin connector located on the thermostat housing.... no big deal really...the connector it uses is the basic honda 2 pin round connector...just extend the old wires from the fan switch to the new connector and plug it into the sensor on the thermo housing...if it still throws the code6 just switch the wires around and reset the ecu and youll be set...
headgaket and timing belt are all for a 99-00 si civic
pretty much any misc. pat you may need for that engine is going to have to be ordered under a 99-00 civic si, since the dealers dont list JDM engines in their directory
