I read the rules but didn't really see anything that would say this is a no go... My question is... Is it ok for the bar that goes into the trunk to be basically 2 pieces like it is? Well the bar that actually goes into the trunk is one piece but to stay within the 5" from the top of the hoop rule, another bar was added to it.

those base plates welded to your rear strut towers dont appear to be 6x6 ( they seem like 4x6) and i thought all base plates had to be 6x6 at minimum?

That will pass here on the east coast.... I have seen a del sol exactly like that and didn't have a problem.

 

those base plates on the strut towers should be just fine for tech, that is the strongest way to do it in these cars.
