Default Our K-series hatch almost in the 10's on 22" slicks

We went to the track today and we managed to better our best time. This was done at only 10 psi, pump gas and 22" slicks.
Best run - 11.0
Best mph - 128

The 11.2 run was going to be like an 11.1 or 11.0 but it shut off as soon as I went into 5th. It felt like it might have went to 11 psi in fifth and it hit boost cut since we still have the stock MAP sensor and it still coasted to an 11.2@116 mph. The run right before that one was 11.3@128 mph at only 10 psi and 91 pump gas.

I can't wait to put the 24" slicks and a good clutch to see what it will do.

with the bigger slicks and a better clutch, wont that slow you down?

The car will hook better and loose MPH (not much) but will run better ETs.

Why would it slow it down ? It is spinning the tires and I am running out of gear really fast. Those runs were just going through the gears , no power shifting yet so I know it still has some more in it.

Just got a Spec brand clutch and flywheel for my K24 powered CRX. Its the Speed Scene Live TV project car.
Man, the Spec stuff is really high quality. I cant believe how nice is it.
Try one of their clutches in your car. They have stock, and full race stuff available.

Update :

We went to the track tonight and here is the run down :
1st run - 11.3@123
2nd run - 11.1@124
3rd run - 11.0@126
4th run - valve stem came off As soon as I launched I knew there was a problem. This was done on some very old 24x7" slicks , once we get a set of new 24.5x9 I know the car has some 10.80's in it no problem. This was done still at only 10 psi !!!

That was another thing , we were only cutting 1.72 60 ft times because the 2 step was at 5,500 rpm but we did not have the laptop with us to raise it up. I know if I raise it up to 6,500 with the bigger slicks we can cut some high 1.6's .
