which do you guys think is better for front pads...

 

like i said, the EBC greenstuff 's combined with the Powerslot rotors have been awsome on the bitch's tegra. Its been just about a year and not a peep outta them.

And no brake dust either

 

i did a little test with my brakes when i bought my power slotted rotors. I put EBC green stuff brake pads on one side and stock pads on the other side. The green stuff pads build up no brake dust compared to the stock pads, the rim wit the stock pads was black and the other wheel was clean. The stock pad also locked up the brakes easier then the green stuff pad. I am happy with the green stuff pad.

 

Is there a reason these are the only two you're looking at? I ran the HPS pads for two autocrosses and was fairly happy with them, but they weren't much of an improvement over OEM pads. However, on the track the HPS pads just sucked, and I wouldn't run them again.

I haven't ever run the EBC green stuff pads, mainly because I have never heard anything good about them.

I'm confused about your test. The stock pad locked up the brakes easier, so you chose the other pad? Seems counterintuitive. Also, a solid steel brake pad won't dust at all, but that doesn't mean it will stop your car.

 

u guys must have good luck with your ebc pads caus mine did nothing but dust everywhere and that was like 5months after they were put on.....and i had the ebs rotors to go along with them(these were on my 97 dx)

 

I'm using the HPs front pads right now with a AEM big brake kit they work really well on the street but I would have to say that I would go for the HP+ pads next time....

I really haven't found a good rear pad as of yet..??

 

on your aem front big breaks....which car are they for?? i didnt think the made one for our year model civics....are you using the integra ones? or dod the other civic ones work also?

90`91 Civic Sedan front knuckles and brake calipers is what you will need Or any SiR EF set

As long as they cam with the 10.3 rotor

Yes ... If you but the Mega $$ one I'm using the stock SiR calipers now and the car stops VERY QUICK

 

go with the Hawks over the EBCs. I have heard many good things about the Hawks.
