I have a dent behind my driver side door
does anyone have any suggestions on how to get out a dent? theres no paint missing it just looks like maybe a person fell or ran into it and dented it. i tried to pop it out from the inside but it just goes back in.

The reason why its going back in, is because you didnt stress relieve the metal. Next time try working the dent around the edges first with a slightly pointy object. Then gradually work your way into the middle. Take your time so you dont put "outies" in the metal.
Also, try tapping around the outer edges of the dent, on the outside of the panel with a small hammer, while pushing the dent out from the inside. Picture a crater, or a rain drop in a puddle. Around the low area at the point of impact, its high, and then flattens out. This is the same thing that happens to sheet metal, so as you work out the low, you need to push in the high. Hope this helps
