Default Losing oil, no blue smoke, no leaks

I have a 00 Si with the stock B16, about 90K miles. Im losing about a half a quart of oil every 400 or so miles. I did a compression test while warm fuel cut and WOT. 205 187 194 175. No noticeable blue smoke or leaks. The only thing I can notice besides the compression and missing oil is there is a little bit of oil on the thread of my plugs and a little bit around the grommets on the valve cover. Any ideas?

if no leaks, you must be burning it either by valve seals or worn rings.. your compression isnt very consistent so rings could be the culprit

well oil around the threads of the plugs you could be from the oil seals in the valve cover around where the spark plug tunnels are. That cylinder that is 175 is a little low. Try some engine restore drive the car for like 1000 miles and then do a compression test again. See if you can bring that cylinder up... Someone else back me up on this but 190-180 is normal.

Something I just realized, My plug grommets and like squished. They look fine when the valve cover is off but when its on they looked squished a wrinkled up. Is this normal? Valve cover on too tight?

Id say its your piston rings, your valve cover may be on a bit tight, but most likely its your rings.

That doesn't help my problem, just because he doesn't know how to check his oil doesn't mean I have the same problem.
