well i've heard meguiars polish would bring the color out, thats what the guy at kragens told me

and also the new ice product is selling fast but hes never used it, its a bit pricey.

i would try meguiars 3 step compounds.

he told me it worked out fine for him after wet sanding.

dont know if this is any help but gl

each bottle is about 7-8$ ? so it would prob come out to be like $25 total

Nighthawk black is a pearl not a metallic. Blacks cover very well. As long as you start w/ a med gray surface or apply med./ dark tinted sealer, you should achieve full coverage in 3 med/ wet coats, but still check. Not so much where its about to run, base should never get anywhere near that point. This is a very easy color for completes. There is many different ways to do a quality finish. You could just do 3 coats of clear and flat sand it, buff/polish, or you could do 3, cure it then apply 2-3 more. Some people have it some don't, its far from easy to clear a complete and have no drips, sags, runs but be able to apply it where it flows out w/ minimal peel. But its not that hard once you get the feel for it.

im not so worried about the coverage, just worried about orange peel and dirt in the base. is it okay to lay 3 clear, wet sand, then apply 2-3 more? actually im pretty sure i can. i just want to know how much clear to apply each coat where it will flatten out really evenly. am i suppose to spray it wet where itll orange peel lightly then itll flatten out right? or is spraying where itll orange peel too heavy? thanks for the help.
