civic 94 dx overheating
d15b7, I just rebuilt the entire engine, oem pistons, head gaskets, head redone, everything, but yesturday the weather here in oklahoma was really really hot, the temp went all the way to 3/4, then when i stopped accelerating the car, it came to the right temperature (less than half)
but when I started to accelerating it went up to 3/4 again, open the hood, the water resorvaoir (the white bottle located at the left) was all the way to the top and its was like bubbling, not sure it was bubbling but it was all the way to the top, what can be wrong?
thnks in advance

Sounds like you have air in the coolant system. You might need to burp it. Just fill the radiator up turn the heat on in the car run the engine until the cooling fan kicks on and the tstat opens. you will then have to add more coolant and reinstall the radiator cap
Instructor had a great suggestion for a starting point... why not try it and let us know how it goes?
Next...
1. Check for leaks
2. Fan activating?
3. Pressure test the cap
the list can go on and on

Drain system, fill radiator again. Fill resevoir tank about half full. Let run for 5 minutes, bleeding air through the bleeding nut, filling resevoir as needed. Did you install a failsafe thermostat? Replace your waterpump when you did a tune-up?
