Car Fishtails While Shifting
I have a 2006 S2000. I don't drive agressively. I wasn't paying attention and let the left rear tire become under inflated on a trip. It got down to 10psi. I filled the tire and a week later it blew out. I replaced it with a Continental at the only tire place I could find open. The car fishtails or pulls to the right as I push in the clutch and pulls to the left as I let it out. I took it to the dealer and he said it is because the Continental is a bi-directional rotation tire and the tread depth is greater than the right rear tire which has 15,000 miles on it. I replaced the right rear tire with the same Continental and the car still fishtails, although it isn't as pronounced. Any ideas as to the cause or fix?
Check front and rear tire pressure and alignments. Most likely this is due to different tire pressures or not enough pressure.
