oh one more thing i got everything hooked up fallowed the how to and my locks still dont work ... what did i do wrong ? i wired everything up like i should the only thing i can think of is there are two green plugs not sure. one fits into the stock unit but there was another one taped up .. could this be the problem? i plugged that one in but my locks still dont work .. How did you keep the door locks working? is the stock HU mounted behind the dash console? and the green plug still plugged into it?
If so, you need do nothing, the dome light will work.

Electricity doesn't care if you twist the wires together or you shove a paperclip between the two pins. But for the sake of reliability I suggest cutting the two wires and twisting them together, soldering them, and insulating them with electric tape or heat shrink.

no rice "inside"...
so that means there "could" be rice on the outside...
OR ON HIS CLOTHES!!!!!!

u should really read that stickied thread: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1794938
it shows some basics of soldering, tapping, and making good connections.
If you don't have a soldering iron, one from radio shack would do fine.. just need to hold it on the wire longer and let the solder seep into the wires... and some 3M Tartan tape will do great as insulation... the 3M tape is really easy to work with, and doesn't leave too much of a sticky residue.
