I read and search more threads about this , but most of the pictures are gone , and i can't see it any more, and because of that i wil ask it again and maby someone can help me , thanks alot!!
I would like to order the C5 stainless steel header at David , but I drive with the Moroso 20910 oilpan , and its almost the same oilpan as OEM Honda.
http://www.moroso.com/catalog/categorydisplay.asp?CatCode=10915
But maby somebody knows more info about the C5 header and Moroso oilpan ??And maby can you send me pictures of your C5 stainless header under your car , for the clearance.
And you have normal with your OEM header a hookup, how do you do it with your C5 header , or you don't hookup the header any more.
Here the hookup from the Toda spec2 header>

If you don't hookup it , are you not afraid for broken something or?
And I read some threads with SMSP C1 header , they use a GSR tranny/blockoff??That wil fit with the C1 header and do someone have the part number from Honda , where you can order it.

I e-mail also with Dave , but if you ask me , i think that the Moroso pan and OEM pan are the same.
Maby it was smarter to check this first before fitting the Moroso oilpan , but I don't think about when i'm fitting it
, stupid me.
But somebody knows how about the this hookup?
@JjuuN R , its not my Toda spec2 header

There's a few pics on this page of my SMSP header. He custom made it for my application as I had different clearences to play with due to the Griffin radiator and FAL slim line fan setup. I did however remove the trans brace with no ill afffects.

Thanks
, but if i look to the tubing , you have a C1 header.
With the C5 header the tubing is just configured differently. The stock aluminum tranny to block brace on the C5 engine can't be used with the C1 header. The C1 header has much better ground clearance than the C5 header.
But i would like to use the alu. tranny
, but I look to your thread and it is amazing, good job!!

Thanks. But what I was getting at is if you give Dave the specs on yours, I'm sure he can fab it any way you'd like as he did with mine.
And you sir are correct, mine was built off of the C1 design.
Edit: If you look at page 23, there are more/better pics of the header itself not installed.

The tab on the Toda that the arrow is pointing to, does not exist on an SMSP header. You have to run an exhaust to support the header.
Not a torque monster C5, but I removed the trans brace on my Y7 with no ill effects. Also removed them from a customers Y8, he has had no problems either.

@JjuuN R : Sorry , i did not read it well
.I have a few pics , but it is with old modifications.Its bad weather here in the Netherlands but if its good weather a take few new ones.
@Aquafina : With other words , i can take for better clearance the C1 header , and i get no problems if I removed the trans brace?Also not for the future on many trackdays? Honda put this with a reason , or is it not?
I don't know , i don't have experience with it.
A few old pictures at the Nurburgring , with bad weather and a old cam
I will make a new thread to proposal me , i see that I that not have done yet.

holy smokes thats a good looking car.
im sure itll work and the brace, eh ive only seen it make a difference on my buddies mugen header, it cracked it, pulling the primaries away from the flange on the head. however, he did not have an axleback(backbox) on at the time, which may of caused it to pull and shake more. i wouldnt worry about running it

SMSP is supported by the exhaust, not by a hanger as an OEM exhaust manifold is. IF you have to remove the trans brace, you'll be fine. You can always fab a new one that will clear the header.
I've never run the ITR transmission-block brace on my track car.
Ran it without any brace for a year using a JDM DC header. Then added the LS/GSR trans-block brace & cover (for piece of mind) with the Hytech for a year and a half.
FWIW: The engine sees very little time on the street, mostly driven (pretty hard) 2-4 days per month at track events.

@ITRnorway : Yes i must trim tranny brace , a little bit.
@BlueTeg : Ok , hmm its difficult to choose now
, and this "LS/GSR trans-block brace & cover" do you have a part number of this?I can use it if I choose for the C1 header.

Here you go
11950-P72-A00
11960-P30-000
Keep in mind that the GSR/LS brace will leave the flywheel exposed. You will also need the flywheel cover for the GSR/LS. I don't have the part number for that but it's not that expensive.
Full diagram can be seen here:

edit: I just noticed that Honda charges over $80 (yikes!) for just the 2 braces (not including hardware). I have an extra GSR/LS transmission-block brace sitting around in my garage. I'm not using them, shoot me an offer. I also still have some of the mounting bolts too that you can have.

Thanks!!!
After thinking and thinking again , i will take the B18C5 header but I don't know ready if I take the multi piece B18C5 header or the 1 piece B18C5 header.....
But if i take the 1 piece B18C5 header and i will smash the tubing , I must send the whole header back for repairing, and if I take the Multi piece B18C5 header , i can send the damaged part back??
Who can tell me wich header you guys advise me ??>> The B18C5 Multipiece or the B18C5 1 Piece header??...Or is the B18C1 header the best?

multipiece c5 header.
1.) Easy to repair correctly if you smash it
2.) Proper length and diameter for your R motor
