Hey guys, I recently purchased a 00 integra type R, after i got the insurance money for my stolen gsr. The car has 81K miles on it.

Details.... where did you find it for sale?

 

I work at CarMax, and it got traded in. I bought it with 79K miles on it with my employee discount for about $13,300 out the door.

Also, the previous owner of the car works at CarMax with me.

Actually, this is my third integra. Had a 95 DB8, i don't think people knew it was a gsr.. never got messed with. Then a 00 gsr.. the one i mentioned that got stolen, it was taken exactly where my car is now on pic 2(above). It got stolen right outside my house within a couple of months of my ownership. The way it happened, was strange.. at the spot where i had parked it, there were no broken glass, no tire marks, no evidence at all.. made me think the previous owner that traded it in had an extra key and remote(I never installed a new alarm myself)came back to collect. Luckly, all the goodies that are on the car in the below pic, were already on it when i bought it .. i know, i know i bought someones else' work, but it was a good price again with my employee discount.
I guess with the R, i'm alert and paranoid nowadays. I don't have a garage now, but might be moving soon. Thanks for all the comments.

You are right. The tail lights on it are the older version ambers..i did a straight swap with another integra owner. I like these better.

She looks really great! Enjoy and keep heR safe man! Don't underestimate ITR thieves, they are good at what they do. They can jack a caR and not leave a trace.....like they did with your GSR. I definitely wouldn't assume the previous owner stole it.

Layer heR up with as much security as you can!
