I believe Unorthodox makes a set of pullies. I wouldn't recommend them, but that's just me. Not saying it's a bad product at all, just personal preference.

I just wouldn't get them because of the balanced crankshaft, but that's just me. Others have them and would swear by them. I just don't think the risk is worth the extra 2-3 hp.

Isn't the balanced crankshaft the whole purpose of these underdrive pulleys being perfectly safe? And how honda engines are internally balanced?

What risk? You never read about people having problems with motors that have underdrive pulleys installed. I'm almost thinking its a myth, or something that happened SO long ago that people refuse to change their thinking about. Kinda like the 3000mi oil change.

With all this said, I'd especially go for an Unorthodox Racing pulley. It isn't a cheap ebay knockoff, its a good product! Install it right and don't worry about it.

Could you tell us a bit about the exhaust? Pics? Vids? I'm kind of leaning towards this one myself but I'm not sure the sound is going to be right for me. Essentially, I want the skunk2, but at a more realistic sound level. I heard the skunk2 w/ the silencer and it sounds like ***, so I don't wanna go that route.

Its a very different sound than the skunk2. If you want the skunk, at lower decibels, go a different route.

Yea I had no idea. When I went to the site and saw all of the hoses, I just expected them to be selling another brand's (like mishimoto) hoses, but they are actually there.

Would that vacuum scavenger have any benefit on an otherwise stock car?

I've heard from others it has a very deep sound, just not as loud (the vibrant). All I want is the sound of the skunk2 (deep), but without the insane, excessive loudness of it.

You could just buy the skunk 2 and get a longer resonator welded in. Or get a Kteller exhaust - he makes top notch stuff (user name is KTeller8). You specify the type of steel, diameter, what resonator and muffler and he puts it together for ya. My room mate bought one for his STI, and another friend for his turbo lude, both were very happy with sound, performance, and fitments.

I would describe the vibrant as a lot more warm sound than the skunk2. I think the skunk2 sounds a lot more raw, and loud, while IMO the vibrant sounds like more 'tuned'. Im sorry I can't really explain it more than that.

any chance KTeller makes an exhaust for our cars? I couldn't find it on their site.

We are the #1 stocking retailer for the Vibrant FG stuff. Pretty much the first to try it out and dyno it. These catbacks kick *** and it sucked before because the 4 door guys had to extend the exhaust but now they even have the model specific. We worked closely with Donavan and the rest of the crew there and the stuff they make is so kickass.

Im surprised nobody on here has mentioned there catted header. If you need sound clips or even some pictures just pm me as we have a SHITload.
