T1R S51 Exhaust DYNO !!!
I think everything one might be a little excited to see how much the exhaust can do for the CRZ. Here's mine !
- Dyno is performed with Dynapak dynometer
- Dynoed with 4th Gear
- Base line with stock vs T1R S51 Cat-back exhaust
- all numbers are SAE corrected
- tempurature 3 degrees celius
*Here's the dynoplot*
*Here's the break down for the dyno result.
Video coming soon !
Regards,
Ben

somethings wrong.....stock has 110whp on this dyno, hondas claimed hp is 122 at the crank with the hybred drive.....thats less than a 10% hp loss to the drivetrain and thats pretty much impossable. The norm is 12-15% with some cars losings as much as 18-20%. Examples that come to mind...
rsx type-s....200 crank hp= 175whp
ep3............160chp = 135whp
s2000.........240chp = 205 whp
unless of corse that is church's dyno....then it is totaly understandable, that thing adds 20 hp to anything......

One thing you have to remember is that a chassis dyno is only good to track changes in power and torque. The only real way to test the actual power of an engine is to use an engine dyno. Also, I don't remember where I read this (I think Popular Mechanics), when a nascar car is dyno tested at the wheels, they only see about 4-6% drivetrain loss.
BTW, nice number for only adding an exhaust.

Another thing to consider, is that hybrid cars have slightly different drive train components. That is another thing to consider.
Good solid numbers. I'm in to hear how it sounds, however

Guessing the falloff of the torque curve is from the electric assist falling off during the dyno run?
