Default intake manifolds

as alot of you may know. the z6 manifold looks like this...

and the y8 looks like this

i wanted to know what everyone's thoughts were cause i have heard that the z6 gives you a better top end becuase its a little smaller in size and the y8 give you a better take off cause of more air flow...could this be true. i have both intake manifolds and am currently running and eg on an a6 crx head and block. i'm doing another mini-me swap shortly and wanted to try out the other intake manifold...can some of yall sohc'ers school me a little???

For years I've gone by turbo = y8 manifold,,all motor = z6 manifold

but either one is an upgrade so you can't go wrong.

Since you have both maybe you can dyno both and let us know. over here it's about $50 for 3 dyno runs..

In August issue of honda tuning they covered a d16a6 build for honda challenge and they say they tested an a6, z6, and a y8 and the y8 made the most power.
