Suspension question
Hey guys, my car is dropped on Eibach Sportline and the front is way lower than the back(bought the springs used, I think the front ones were cut). I have a 2 finger gap in the rear and a small finger in the front. I'd like to have an even drop, is there something I could do to raise the front end by let say, 1/2 inch?
Do you guys know if some kind of spacers are available to put in between the springs and the shocks? like an O-ring or something similar?
Other ideas on how to raise it up a little? (other than buying other springs)
Thanks a lot!

hmm my drop looks pretty even on my Eibach sportlines and Koni yellows.. the front is slightly higher on mine..but i get a 2 finger gap on all 4 corners.. and I don't think my sub boxes help.. the back looks a bit lower on my car.. are they installed correctly? front springs on front.. rear springs on rear? well if u dont want to get new springs.. then I dont know.. see if the neuspeed koni yellows will allow you to raise the fronts.. but then again.. if your sportlines are cut.. that probably defeated the purpose of all the engineering and such that went into them so you might want to get new springs.. dunnoz...

Also. might I ask what shocks they're paired with?
They are correctly installed... They are paired with KYB GR2 shocks on all 4 corners.
Here's a pic of the springs before install:
Do they look normal???

But how could I raise it up a little? anyone knows about thoses spacers I could put in between the springs and the shocks? Or any other way of raising it a little? I only need like half an inch to be happy...

maybe you should be like these truck people with rear leaf-spring suspension and just put blocks of wood under the springs
but seriously, I think there might be urethane bushings or something you can put in there.

I have Eibach Sportline springs and Koni Yellows... if those are Eibach sportlines.. it looks cut on the top coils to me.. the bottom of the springs are wound and like an "S" kinda.. where the bottom of the coil sticks out and goes into the indentation on the "cup" of the shock/spring perch.. however the top is more flat to go against the flat/level top shock cap ..and the bottom end of the coil is kind of smaller to go in the cup... I don't know if I'm using the right words/terminology for all the parts.. but I hope you get what I'm saying.. the pic is kind of dark.. but from what I can see.. the left spring looks OK (rear) and the right spring (front) looks like the top coils that seat against the top shock cap were cut...
too bad I don't have a digital camera = (.. i just did a spring/shock install this weekend..
OH yeah.. if I remember correctly.. place the spring standing up (or look at it since its on your car if you can.. look for the words Eibach Sportline and the part number or whatever.. (its in white lettering) there should be 2 coils I think.. above the words/lettering Eibach Sportline... (this is from memory..someone correct me if I'm wrong.. Im pretty sure its 2 coils above the brand/lettering.. )
edit: heres a pic

Why don't you check the end of the coils and see if the red powdercoat is still there. If it's cut then it should not have red powder coat. check it. On Eiback sport lines the rear wheel gap should be a lot smaller than the front.
Good luck

so, they were mostly cut. (I was pretty sure they were)
Do somebody know where I could find some spacers? autoparts stores? Could I make something up myself?
Any help appreciated here!
