Anyone know how to adjust EK headlights?
The car is a 96 DX sedan. I can only see one point of adjustment on the headlight and I turn either way forever and don't see the headlight beam move at all. Am I doing something wrong here? I've adjusted EG headlights before and they're really simple. You just adjust left or right and up or down. But I'm not getting results with these. Any insight on this matter is appreciated.
There are 2 spots. YOu use a phillips screwdriver. Looks like a gear and there is a notch in the plastic. Just like the EG, one is left right and the other is up down.
Well, half my problem was that my headlights are missing the plastic locking rings that lock the bulbs in place. So I'm gonna go to the junkyard and get a set. But I still only see one point of adjustment on the headlights.
You are correct. The ek headlights have only one adjustment point, as do may honda's. I work at a honda dealership and have to adjust them all the time for state inspection. Fix the bulb retainer first, then if that doesn't work, you may need to replace the headlight. The gears inside could be stripped out.

What?
OP: There are two adjustment screws, they're easy to spot. Park your car about 40ft from a wall at night, and adjust them accordingly. The majority of the beam should be about level with your hood.

No, there are two points. I'm not sure how you miss one while working at Honda. Your owner's manual would show you where these are.
This is from the service manual instead, but from looking at my owner's manual, the information is basically the same.
