Whats the diff between H22A stock pistons , and Type S Pistons. Are they the same , or is their a major difference ? Are the comp ratios the same ? I am looking into a set of TS pistions but I run a JDM motor . would it be a waist of money?

 

I'm not sure about your jdm engine piston but one things I know is that Type S pistons have higher compression than stock h22 piston.

type S pistons are 11:1 compression.

 

type s is 11:1 like they said

h22a is 10.6:1

 

gotcha , I just thought the H22a comp ratio was a bit higher . Those TS pistons arent as easy to come by as I thought . There's a forged set on ebay but I think there fako's .
