Default EG HATCH AFTERMARKET Lower control arms..... pro and cons

Are they worth it?

What do they help?

Which is the best?

How much weight do they save?

Give your 2 cents about them, Im looking into buying a pair for my hatch and was just wondering.

there are a ton of brands these days. Omni Power, Blox, SRR, function 7. i think megan racing makes them. id go w/ the F7 or the blox personally

Cons: expensive. look ricey. Not enough weight loss to make a difference.

Pros: some people like the rice look. Don't get dirty going to the junkyard for rear LCAs with swaybar mounts.

Helps if you plan on mounting a rear sway bar, otherwise, there's no sense in getting one.

I would look into Function 7, the new Omnipower, or the MFactory ones. All others with rubber bushings suck *** (I own the 2nd gen Omnis with junk bushings).

Blox

Get come black/silver ones. They don't look ricey.

It's worth it IMO seeing as my local yard wanted $60 for si LCA's.

definitely. if you're serious about your car then you should get it. aftermarket LCA's provide mounting holes for your swaybar, and then you can just throw a tie bar in there while you're at it (tiebar still applicable to OEM lca's)

if you're not going to drive hard at the track or whatever, it's just a waste of money because it's only saving like 4-6 lbs AT MOST, and there's no point of having them if you don't corner.

i have the blox LCA's, and they're the ****. but in all honesty, aftermarket lca's are just that: aftermarket lca's. just get blox or omni. it's all the same ****.

If you want to buy cheep, light, and strong LCA's go with Blox. I rock black stealthy ones. IMO, black is sexy but thats just me.

If you want to spend a lot of money on LCA's go with Function7. They look pretty cool and you can get them in black also. There just about $230- $250.

another pro alot of people are forgeting about is new bushings.

so you can mount a sway bar, lose a couple ounces, and you get new bushings

IMO worth it.

The only real advantage to the f7's are the poly bushings. It's nothing to write home about.

thanks guys... love the way they look and all but damn thats alot of money. I think im gonna go with the cheaper blox ones. I planned to do a es master kit anyways so I guess I'll hope that the bushings outta that will fit the arms.

I was going to get the skunk2 front upper arms also for the chamber fact of it, but was at the junk yard today looking for a fender and noticed them on a 94 coupe. I was like SCORE! So pulled them and a front and back neuspeed lower arm bars. Donno if I'll use them but hey only payed $53 for it all. Theres also SPC rear camber kit on the car so I think tommrrow Im gonna go pull them off also. Figured whats the worst Im surer I can get what I payed for them outta it if I dont use them and sell them.

For good junkyards.

I have yet to find a good one near me. I hate living in redneck land.

Asking about finding import parts at a junkyard is like asking where the KKK meet is and how do I join?

LOL, no, I meant rednecks give you funny looks and immediately don't care about helping you because you're looking for a part for a honda.

Maybe it was a bad analogy.
