Say that i buy a 2.5" silicone coupling. Will i be able to use it on a 2.25" tube? The reason i'm asking this is because my intercooler has 2.5 openings but my i/c tubing is only 2.25" . I'm afraid that it won't hold correctly. Plus those reducer silicone connecters are like 4 times more expensive. grrr Anyone have any insight on this matter?

yeah it will work, just clamp it crazy tight

 

and make sure to use the T-clamps which are more expensive but better

 

Just go to Ace hardware, they sale reducers super cheap.

 

go to your local muffler shop, they can "strecth" out your 2.25" to 2.5" , just an inch where the piping will connect..
give them 5 bucks on the side..
