Show me picture of Dirty/Track *****/Beater S2k!!!!
i saw the "Show me picture of CLEAN S2k" post and thought it would be rather easy to keep an S2000 "CLEAN." Who has managed to bang theirs up and are proud of it!?
i currently have an 85 Corolla in not so showroom condition and people love it!! i plan on getting an s2k soon, but do you have to be in mint condition to be cool round these parts??

It's since been fixed. Redneck driving a truck that was too big for him. He left the scene. I was inside eating at a restaurant.

well.....i usually keep mine pretty mother freaking clean. I'm really really particular about it. The car has ONE ding accompanied by a SMALL scratch. So small, infact, that not even a microscope could pick it up. I, however, could see it from space. I dont park by people, and am generally paranoid about the car. lol I dont do it to be cool......it doesn't sound very cool either way. I just do it because i have OCD when it comes to my cars. lol i even wax my wheels (the ADVANS not the stock ones)

So check out this story. I went to the stupid drag strip today lol. My friends were going on a spur of the moment type of deal so i figured I would go with.
Illinois is a freaking swamp in the summer time. The humidity is beyond your comprehension. It was also 85-90 today. and the track was 100 miles away. lol....yeah.
Anyway, after we got there (highway, 4k+ RPM the whole way), my car had NO time to cool down..it was still humid as fork (although it was cooler...around 75ish).
My best time was a 14.0. with a 2.2 60'. lol...road race alignment FTL. -3 degrees of camber and 36 (cold) PSI in the tires. I didnt wanna change the tire PSI, as I figured it would help alleviate the stress on my diff. I didnt wanna break my diff 100+ miles from home. So i was launching conservatively...aka using the hell out my clutch. I tried so damn hard to break 13.9...but i was too scared to really launch the car hard. Oh well. I'll just stick to road racing lol.
